The Illumination
The day, a canvas, dull and gray, A monotone, where shadows play. Then, like a sunbeam, piercing through, Your smile, a brilliance, fresh and new.
A sudden warmth, the world takes hue, The clouds disperse, a sky of blue. Your lips, a curve, a gentle grace, Transform the world, illuminate this space.
A beacon bright, in darkest night, Your smile, a star, a guiding light. It banishes the gloom, the fear, And brings the joy, that holds me dear.
So let it shine, that radiant gleam, And bathe my world, in its sunlit stream. For in your smile, my heart takes flight, And finds its dawn, its pure delight.
